BIO
Scott Munda
I was born in Pittsburgh PA,
grew up in Plum Boro, and graduated
from Plum high school. I live
in Apollo Pa by myself
and I have a lawn care business.
I always loved music and started
playing guitar when I was 13 after
hearing Metallica for the first time.
I enjoy anything from Stevie Ray Vaughn
to Gwar. I was in a band briefly in 8th
grade called N-Vee. We played a few
school dances, but it fizzled out after
that. Over the years I played but
never really did anything else with it,
just jammed with friends. In my mid
20's I started playing more acoustic
guitar and learning how to sing. After
a few years of singing lessons and
getting more comfortable, I really
found my niche. A few years later
I bumped into a friend from
high school who I haven't seen
in years who also loved music,
Brian Cicco, and No Assembly
Required was born. I love being
in a band with my good friend
and I hope to ride this out as
long as possible!
Brian Cicco
I was Born in Pittsburgh Pa and
grew up in Plum Boro, graduating
from Plum Senior High School. I live
in Vandergrift PA and I am a Senior
Payroll Specialist for a company
called HSS Enterprises. Music has
always been a part of my life. My
father played guitar in a rock band
in the 70's. I remember peeking my
head down the cellar steps trying to
get a peek at them practicing. I used
to love listening to my father play
guitar and singing along
with him when I knew the words.
After graduating high school, I joined
the US Marines. I went on a 6 month
deployment in the Mediterranean Sea
and got to see many countries over
there, including Bulgaria, Istanbul
Turkey, Israel (Nazareth), Spain,
and Venice Italy. It was a great
experience. After Marine Corps I
started working construction and I
also DJ'd Karaoke on the side. I was
admired for my singing everywhere I
went. I have 3 boys, all grown up now
and I am still working on getting them
into the music business.
In 2006 I ran into my good friend
Scott Munda from high school. We both
realized the passion we had for music
and hence, No Assembly Required was
born. It has been a great ride getting
to perform with such a great friend
all these years and I hope there are
many more in the future to come.
